Goal Type:

Boston Qualifier

Running Accomplishments:

-Just completed first race, the Brooklyn Half. Time was 1:42:05, a pace of 7:41 per mile, or a speed of 7.8 mph. Can't imagine I can keep that pace for a marathon, but for now that's the goal.

I've just signed up to run the Chicago Marathon on October 10, with Fred's Team. I'm hoping to raise 3,000 cancer-fighting dollars.

Short-Term Running Goals:

-Hoping to complete first marathon this October.  I've only been running since January so it seems a bit premature, but I'm excited and addicted.

-Also hoping to do an ultra, perhaps the 50k race in Iceland, or Caballo Blanco's 50 mile race in northwestern Mexico. Both are in spring 2011.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I'd love to run a Boston qualifying time. For my age, that's less than 3:10:00, which seems inconceivable.

Personal:

-I only run in the Vibram Five Fingers, and I love them. I have the Flow for cold-weather running and the Bikilas for summer.
